Fran was born in Cantabria, he moves for a while to Madrid and he currently lives in Barcelona.

His work is marked by an early love of surrealism and psychedelia. The "normal" perception of things has long since ceased to interest him. "What we perceive through our senses is only the tip of the iceberg." His works take you into a dream world in a subtle way, with a great conceptual charge and a refined image.

The recent years he has focused on his most personal works and on the design of records and posters for bands. He has worked for Weezer, Twin Shadow, Dorian, Viva Suecia, Toundra, Fuel Fandango, El Canijo de Jerez, Morgan, Pumuky or Els Amics de les Arts among others.
